Fernando is survived by his son Adrian Castillo; and his son Victor Ornelas; his mother Juana M. Avelar; his sister Alicia Martinez Dominguez (Jose Angel Dominguez), his brother Mike Martinez (Jesus Gabriela Martinez), his brother Ruben Martinez (Blanca Sepulveda Martinez), his brother Edward Joe Martinez, his brother Manuel Martinez (Michelle Martinez); and his brother Paul Anthony Avelar.
Fernando was also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Fernando was preceded in death by his brother Anthony Martinez.
Fernando always tried to do his best, and family was everything to him. He was always there for the family without any hesitation. We really valued his last year of his life because through his physical struggle, it brought harmony, unity, love and a lot of fellowship with the entire family. He was loving and kindhearted. We will miss his presence because he helped us become a closer family. He also was an avid Oldies listener.
Fernando cared for his mom and was a caregiver for his brother Paul. He also helped raise his nephew Dominick. Fernando, we love you very much and we will forever miss you.
Visitation for Fernando will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil at 6:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903.
