Fernando Martinez, 67, passed away peacefully and went with God on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1957 in El Paso, TX, to Juan and Petra Martinez. Fernando was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Mario. He is survived by his children- Mirna, Anabel, Fernando (Jr), Patricia (Patty), product of his 40 year marriage with Patricia. He is also survived by his grandchildren- Daniel, Allen, Selena, Anaya, his second wife Virginia, and many other family members.
Fernando worked for Paragon Cable (Spectrum) in 1980 for several years until his retirement in 2022. His pillars for life included working, laughter, and showing kindness. His willingness to work- unmatched. His enormous sense of humor- well known by those who knew him closely, and by those who just met him for the first time. His kindness- always willing to lend a hand to anyone going through a hardship.
During his spare time Fernando enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going to church, making jewelry, building, fixing cars, and growing vegetables.
Fernando will be deeply missed.
