

Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Fernando Tiscareno passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the age of 78. He was born in El Paso, Texas on March 24, 1936. He attended Lincoln School and was a graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1955. He proudly served in the US Navy and US Naval Reserve. Fernando retired as an Assistant Manager at the Thom Mcan Shoe Company. He later worked as a Security Guard for Pinkerton Security. Fernando retired from Martin Funeral Home after 20 years of service. Fernando was a member of the Catholic Church, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 638 and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Cristo Rey General Assembly. He is survived by his son Fernando Jr (Beatrice), granddaughter Nicole, Daughter Annette Tiscareno and his adopted son Enrique Alvarado (Stephanie) Cheyenne, Enrique and Christina. Sisters Margarita, Carmen, and Belen. Brothers Armando and Jesus and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by his canine companions Sasha, Shotzy and Snoopy who will forever miss their evening walks with Grandpa. Visitation will begin Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 5-7 pm. Rosary service at 7:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home-Central. Funeral mass Monday, October 27, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, El Paso, TX.
