Florence E. Fowler
October 23, 1944 – May 13, 2019
Florence E. Fowler a resident of El Paso for 40 years,Passed to her eternal home on May 13,2019.
She is predeceased by her Father and Mother William and Viola Palazzo, Her Husband of fifteen years Edward H, Fowler Jr. Florence is survived by Francis Laverpool her companion of over 10 years. William N. Palazzo, Her Brother, Stacey Kay Eddy and her wife Tina. Her two sons Brandon and Eddie J. Fowler III. Two Granddaughters Angelina and Olivia and one Great Granddaughter Karmela. Her niece Kerri Monahan and Nephew William F Palazzo and their families. Her cousins Camille Rohm,Margarite LaSalle( Anthony),Nicholas Palazzo (Rita), Richard Palazzo(Starr), Janice Miller(James), Leon Gaudiosi(Diane),Robert Gaudiosi(Rachel),Marie MacIntire (Robert),Lenore Reynolds, Joseph Gironda(Lucy), Gloria Raio (Louis), and Rosemarie Messineo. Who all reside on the East Coast
In addition her longtime friends Judith Green,Nila Helt and their families. Also the numerous Friends and Colleagues she had in and around El Paso.
Florence was very active in the Community being an advocate for individuals with disabilities and other civic minded positions. In the 1980’s and 90’s Florence was very active and volunteered with the PVA, DAVA, ACLD and other like organizations. She became the State Commander for the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary from 1991-1992. She was an advocate for children with disabilities and their families helping them secure services for their education. As well as other individuals who could not advocate for themselves.Later in the 2000’s Florence Worked for the El Paso Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing as well as the Rescue Mission of El Paso. Florence has left a positive mark on many lives young and old in and around El Paso. She was loved by so many and likely feared by some however she was able to accomplish whatever she set out to do. She was also very active in her Church Unity El Paso where she also touched so many lives.
A Memorial Service will be Held May 23,2019, 6:00 pm at Unity El Paso 1420 Alabama Street, El Paso Tx 79930.
