Frances (Francisca) Salinas, 86, was born in Estacion Ojo Laguna, Chihuahua, Mexico, on May 28, 1934, and passed away in El Paso, Texas on June 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcos Carrasco and Catalina Flores Carrasco; husband, Leopoldo Salinas Jr.; brothers, David Carrasco and Antonio Carrasco; and sisters, Elisa Muela, Maria Elena Carrasco, and Socorro Medina. She is survived by her sons, Albert Salinas (Martha) and Leo Salinas (Maricruz); and her sister, Lydia Ontiveros (Manny), and brother, Eddie Carrasco (Ofelia). Also, by grandchildren Venessa Arruti (Tony), Alberta Salinas, and Marisa Salinas; and great-grandchildren Andoni and Zorion Arruti; and Sebastian Escobar. Also by nephew Michael Carrasco (Yolie); and nieces, Lisa Esparza, and Melissa Ontiveros; and great nephews and nieces, Marcos Antonio Carrasco, Max Carrasco, Glory Carrasco, Alexis Dominguez, and Matthew Esparza. Frances was devoted to her family and had a great love for God. May God bless her with eternal rest and peace. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm Monday, June 29, at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79903, with Rosary being prayed at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be 11:30am Tuesday, June 30, at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4800 Byron St. followed by burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
