Sunday, July 15, 2018, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Francisco Segura, went home to be with our Lord. He is survived by his bride of 72 years, Celia Segura, 4 children Frank Jr. (Mona), Geraldine(+Mike)and Edward (Pat) and preceded by his daughter +Edna. Francisco was valedictorian of his class at El Paso Tech, served in the U.S. Navy as a Gunner’s Mate, 3rd class, in WW II and in Korea. He also served 35 years with the U.S. Postal Service. Francisco was a great teacher and mentor to everyone he met, and beloved by everyone who met him, he never met a stranger. He shared stories, laughter, jokes and his wonderful wisdom with everyone! He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Bernadette, Joseph, Michael, Hector Jr., Nicolas, Araceli, Jacob, Roxanne and Stacy, Jason & Samuel 34 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren. Francisco was also preceded by his brothers Manuel, Alberto, Juan, and sisters, Guadalupe and Pilar. Surviving siblings are Moises, Ramon, Soledad, Ernestina, Dolores and Ana. Family would like to thank V.A., Urgent Care, Hospice El Paso, Eduardo, Rudy and special thanks to Irene Reyes team leader, Michael, Sonny, Jesus, you are truly sent by the Lord and Blessings to our beloved Francisco and Family. In lieu of flowers please give donations to St. Jude’s Children Hospital and Annunciation House. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 9pm, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 7:00pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 12:30pm, Friday, July 20, 2018 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
