

Frank Luna, Jr. On November 30, 2015, Frank Luna, Jr., 71, went home to our Lord. Frank was born in El Paso on April 14, 1944. He graduated from El Paso Technical High School in 1963 and attended Texas Western College after his high school graduation. Frank was definitely a people person. For most of his working years, Frank was a credit union manager where he enjoyed helping many people obtain loans. He started his credit union manager career with Mann Manufacturing. While there, Frank was instrumental in alerting and assisting coworkers in evacuating the Mann Manufacturing building that collapsed in the 1970s. Thereafter, he became the credit union manager at Tony Lama and Levi Strauss. Frank also enjoyed baking and provided beautiful cakes to countless friends and neighbors for many years. He was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Frank was pre-deceased by his father, Francisco De Luna and his mother Emilia De Luna. He is survived by his two brothers, Ben (Gretchen) and Miguel (Manuela), nephew Mike and nieces Marisa, Emily and Erica and longtime friends Mario and Santos. Frank was a devoted friend to many people in El Paso and Juarez. His generosity and gentle humor will be truly missed by all that loved him. Visitation will be December 4, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, a rosary will be said for Frank at Martin Funeral Home Central on Friday, December 4th, at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, December 5th at 10:00 a.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to El Paso Diabetes Association or St. Vincent de Paul at Assumption Catholic Church in Frank's honor.
