OBITUARY
Fred Abeyta
August 11, 1938 – August 1, 2014
FRED ABEYTA Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend Fred Abeyta has gone home to be with our Lord. He passed away on August 1st, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Abeyta, mother, Blanch Abeyta, brother, Edward Abeyta and his grandfather Walter Page. He is survived by his wife Martha of 50 years, his son, Fred (Tina Corral), daughter, Yvonne (Frank Barajas), and also blessed with 4 loving grandchildren, Julio Marquez, Vincent Barajas, Jesse Barajas, and Cody Rediker, along with many nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Carlos Lopez who respected and loved him. He graduated from El Paso High School in 1957. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Reserves and later retired from real estate. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed weightlifting as a past times. He was a man of his word and dedicated to his family and friends. He will truly be missed. The service celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 Martin Funeral Home Central visitation from 5pm to 7pm with a Christian vigil from 7pm to 9pm. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am. on Thursday August 7th, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery East on Montana with procession leaving the funeral home 9:00 am. Services entrusted by Martin Funeral Home Central.

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USAR during the Cold War. I played a lot of golf with Fred over the years. I'll remember that he always had a smile on his face. Never said a negative word about anyone. He will be missed.
