Gail Gibbons Spaugy, 74, passed away on October 16, 2026. Born in Douglas, Arizona on December 18, 1951, Gail carried forward a steady devotion to learning, family, and service throughout her life. She was a resident of El Paso, Texas.
Gail graduated from Eastwood High School and later received her Associates Degree from the Career Centers of Texas, reflecting a practical determination and commitment to building a life grounded in skill, care, and purpose.
Gail worked as a Medical Assistant for various doctors offices, offering attentive support and dependable presence to those she served. She also taught at Career Centers, sharing her knowledge with others and extending her care beyond the workplace through patient instruction and guidance.
Gail’s greatest joys were found close to home—in family, in the warmth of baking, and in the quiet satisfaction of crafts. In these simple, meaningful pursuits, her thoughtfulness and steady love were felt in ways that will long be remembered.
Gail is survived by her children, Ronal Duane Spaugy and Ginger Leann Jenkins; her grandchildren, Xavier A Perez, Lauren E Valdez, Ella H Spaugy, Ashlynne N Taby (Justin), Joshua R Jenkins, and Zachery J Jenkins; and her great grandchildren, Paige Y Valdez and Jackson Taby. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara E Wall (Jack) and Pamela Ayers (Dave).
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938, on October 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938, on October 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
