It is with great sadness that the family of Genaro Benitez of El Paso announces his passing on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of 73 years. He was born in Aculco, Mexico on December 2, 1945. Genaro was married to Aurora Benitez on July 6, 1977. He worked in Maintenance for the Ysleta Independent School District. Genaro was a loving and caring family man with a huge heart who helped everyone. He had a passion for animals especially horses and anything horse related: horse racing, rodeos, charreadas. Genaro will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Aurora Benitez and his children Andy and Genaro Jr. He will also be fondly remembered by his sisters and brothers: Guadalupe, Dionisia, Ángela, Gloria, Juan, Pedro y Julio Benítez García and Octavio Benítez Benítez.

I am Genaro's sister-in-law, I'll always remember him as my loving and caring brother-in-law!! He had a very big and loving heart, always helping and caring for everyome!! We had very beautiful memories with all our family, and he will be missed so much!! I know he Loved his family so much, his Beautiful wife, Yoya and his two Handsome sons, Genarito and Andy!! We will Miss You So Much!! Luv Ya Always!!

My uncle Genaro was a wonderful man and I have many great memories of him. He always had a big smile and had an even bigger heart. Our kids were fortunate enough to have known this great man and for that I'm grateful. He will be missed dearly.
