Dear Berena, Allyson & Emmy;
I just found out about George's passing yesterday.  He and I were room-mates and best friends back in the early 90's, and friends going back to the 80's.   What a great guy!  I'm sure you miss him very much.  My deepest sympathy to you.
One time, we took a road trip from SF to Las Cruces to visit his family and camp at some parks along the way.   We also hiked up Mt Lassen together.  He was the best man at my wedding.  
Berena - I'm not sure if we ever met, maybe once.  But I remember him visiting me here in Daly City with the girls when they were quite young.  They were playing on the stairs when something fell in the closet underneath, made a loud noise, and Emmy got scared.  Perhaps they might remember that.

Oh, and one more thing. To his children, your DAD, was the GREATEST! Here's a funny story. As we setting up the El Paso Factory, his office was right next to the control room. One night, I saw him come from around the corner of the VHS lab, his shirt was un-tucked, his hair was flustered, a little out of breath. I asked him what happened, he said he locked his keys in his office, and he had to climb from the control room, through the hanging ceiling, and slide down the wall, to his office. So everytime I went to his office, I would laugh in my head, because you could still see the smeared outline of his shoeprints on the wall next to his desk. Again, although they are not here, remember they  are now EVERYWHERE. In the sky, in your car, in your cereal, in your breath, in the rain, etc.

Peace Be With You and Yours. I just found out, 07-27-24, 
that you transitioned unto Heaven. 
You were my boss at Mediacopy / Infodisc, in El Paso, Texas.No matter the stress and deadlines, you were always, 
cool hand Luke. You took a problem, fixed it, and moved on
to the next. That was everyday. I remember you used to take your kids to work, when we were starting up here in El Paso. On the rare times, you took a vacation, you brought me back, the " Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil monkeys" ceramic. You told me they reminded you of me. Cause there was SO MUCH, dissension at work. I paid no mind, and just kept working. I'm glad our paths crossed. YOU were a Good Supervisor. Amen!

I was so saddened to hear of your recent loss. I first met George in March of 1994 when he was my supervisor at my first job out of college. We worked together for more than 6 years and stayed in touch over the last 20 years. There are so many memories & laughs we shared thought the years & he was so proud of all of you. – you brought so much joy to his life.

I will miss taking with George & catching up on the day to day activities & work stories with him. May you be granted peace & comfort in the coming months as you transition to this new stage in your life.
