Gertrudis "Chita" P. Davila, age 99, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Chita was born March 6, 1923 to Maria Alvarez de Portillo and Francisco Portillo.

Chita is survived by her niece Maria Teresa Portillo, her niece Patricia Portillo and her niece Sandra Harris.

Chita was preceded in death by her husband Adrian J. Davila; her father Francisco Portillo and her mother Maria Alvarez de Portillo.

Visitation for Chita will be taking place on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will follow on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:30 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Committal service will follow at 1:00 PM at Ft Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson, El Paso, Texas 79906.
