Gloria Ofelia Aldaz passed away in El Paso, TX on August 27, 2025, at the age of 81. She was born to and raised by her parents, Hipolito (Leo) and Hortensia Aldaz, in El Paso. She graduated from Loretto Academy, a private Catholic high school. Upon graduation, she worked for the White Sands Missile Range military base. After several years, she relocated to San Francisco, CA, where she worked for the city government in an administrative capacity. She retired back to El Paso to care for her aging mother.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brothers Edmundo Aldaz (Lenore Toser-Aldaz), St. Louis, MO, and Arturo Aldaz, El Paso, TX; two nieces and nephews; a great-niece and three great-nephews; and a great-great-niece; among other family and friends.
Gloria was known for her kind heart and caring of others; her love of animals; and her unwavering dedication to the Catholic faith and strong belief in Jesus Christ as the Savior.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a vigil at 11:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903.
