Gloria Apodaca (Borrego)

Gloria Apodaca (Borrego),Our beloved sister and Aunt passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2014. She was born on August 16, 1928 in El Paso, TX. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolina Borrego (Holguin), father Antonio Borrego, husband, Genaro Apodaca, sister , Francisca Garcia & nephew, Salvador Garcia. Tia Goya is survived by her sister, Margarita Perea, nephews and nieces, godchildren and a brother-in-law. Gloria Borrego worked at Loretto Academy when she was very young and went to work for Farah Mfg. Co. for 30+ years. She will be missed by all who knew her and for her generocity. You never left her house hungry. Many thanks to the nurses and caretakers at Vista Hills Care Center. We will always love you and remember you, Irma Perea Chavez, niece, Rosemary Perea Flattmann, Niece and Antonio Garcia, Nephew. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. with the Vigil at 6:30 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment at Evergreen East Cemetery.
