Gloria A. Cullen, 75, passed away on April 24, 2026. Born and raised in El Paso, she attended El Paso Tech High School, graduating with the final class in 1970. Gloria worked for El Paso Electric Company then moved on to El Paso Natural Gas (EPNG) starting in key punch and ending in bookkeeping in 1996. She held some part time jobs through the years and retired in 2017.
Gloria taught Bible Study at St. Pius X for some years, but she also had a passion for cross stitch, classic movies, casinos and a great meal out.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto Acosta and Julieta Ruiz Acosta and her ex-husband Mark Cullen.
Gloria is survived by her siblings Roberto Acosta Jr (Blanca), Josefina A. Diaz (Jose G. Jr), and Yvonne Acosta along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2026 from 5pm to 9pm with Vigil Service at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 E. Montana.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday May 7, 2026 at 9:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark Dr. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.
