Graciela Jacquez, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 26th at the age of 64. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, strength and grace that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Graciela was born on November 17th, 1959 in El Paso, Texas. Daughter to Roberto Jacquez and Maria Perez. Growing up on the train and with her large number of siblings, she developed a deep appreciation for family, community, deep spirituality and humanitarianism. Throughout her life, Graciela embodied compassion and generosity, always trying to elevate those around her.
Graciela was a dedicated mother who cherished her children above all else. She instilled in her children the values of hard work, integrity, humor, and resilience. Through her unwavering support and encouragement she guided them through life's challenges. Her grandchild brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with him.
Graciela had a passion for health, philosophy, spirituality, and she found joy in nature, family, and helping others. She had a warm and welcoming spirit, and her home was always open to family and friends. Graciela had a knack for bringing people together and made everyone feel loved and valued.
In addition to her role as a devoted mother and grandmother, Graciela was a loyal friend and confidante to many. Her genuine strength, kindness and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Graciela will be deeply missed by her four children, Sara, Martin, Madison, and Chad; her grandchild, Mylo; her siblings, Robert, Louie, Richie, Martha, Ceci, Lily, Angelica, Francis, Frank, Mythe, Nena, Fernie, and Jackie; and all of her extended family and friends.
Though she may be gone from our sight, Graciela's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May her memory be a blessing and may she rest in eternal peace.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM with a funeral service to honor and celebrate Graciela's life at 1:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903
