Guadalupe Escobar Rios

In loving memory of Guadalupe Escobar Rios, who passed away on February 13, 2018. She was 96 years old. Mom, we are saddened you have left us but rejoicing you are home with the Lord. Guadalupe was born on February 17, 1921. She is survived by her children Anita and Hector Maynes, David and Briggid Escobar, Rebecca and Michael Abeyta, Ruben Escobar and Armida Inman. Preceded in death by Raul Rios her late husband. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren who will miss her very much. Guadalupe is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother, Gabriela Morales, Petra Garza and Pedro Montes. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20th from 5pm to 9pm with Vigil at 7pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, February 21st at 9:45am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4800 Byron Street. Mom will then be laid to rest at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson. Reception to follow at Rae Gilmore Recreational Center, 8501 Diana Dr. at 12pm. Special Thanks to Jesus and Veronica Ortiz, Hospice of El Paso, their staff, with special thanks to nurse, Katy.
