Gustavo Gomez

Gustavo is preceded in death by his father Gustavo Ruiz, his brother, Juan Ruiz, and his sister Marisela Ruiz.

He is survived by Sandra Zavala, his girlfriend of 28 years; his 3 children Gustavo A., Juan and Amanda Gomez; his 3 bonus children Eric, Vanessa and Caesar Santacroce; his mother Victoriana Hernandez, his brother Javier Ruiz and his sisters Martha and Ana Ruiz. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren and 5 bonus grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A visitation for Gustavo will be held Monday, August 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. A rosary will occur Monday, August 25, 2025 at 6:00 PM, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 602 S Oregon St, El Paso, TX 79901. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Mem Pines Rd, Sunland Park, NM 88063.
