He is the son of Tomas and Elena Rasor from Chihuahua Mexico. Henry came to the United States from Chihuahua with his brother Thomas and Sister Martha.
He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1950 then later in life attended The Texas College of Mines and Metallurgy (UTEP). Henry enlisted in The United States Navy and is a Korean War Veteran where he served on the USS Preston from 1951 to 1955. In 1964 he married his wife Candida and stayed together for 60 years until his death. In 1971 he founded his business, where he made countless new friends through customers seeking income tax services, translations of legal documents and other notary services.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Elena Rasor; brother, Ronald Thomas Rasor, Sr.; sister, Martha Rasor and, son, Francis Edward Rasor.
He is survived by his wife, Candida Rasor, his sons, Michael and John Rasor; grandchildren, Alexandria Pozdoll and Alexander Rasor; two great grandchildren, Isaiah Lara and Elise Pozdoll.
Henry appreciated the little things in life. In his backyard he built a small barbecue where he passed countless Saturdays and Sundays cooking steaks and burgers for family. Always looking to find new ways to complete projects he never was able to accomplish, his work continues on with his family. He read countless books, and always found time to root for his favorite Notre Dame Irish football team on Saturday afternoons.
Visitation for Henry will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM with a vigil at 6:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Cathedral with interment to follow in Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Road, Santa Teresa, New Mexico with military honors.
