Born in El Paso, Texas on July 5, 1955, Irma’s life was a steady testament to devotion—one marked by quiet strength, enduring loyalty, and a thoughtful way of caring for others that made people feel seen and held close. She was beloved and cherished, not in grand declarations, but in the daily, faithful ways she showed up with kindness and compassion.
Irma graduated from Riverside High School, carrying forward a resilient spirit and a hard-working determination that would shape the years to come. In her career, she worked in retail as an assistant manager for Factory 2 You, Anna's Linens, 50 Off Stores, and more. Those who knew her understood that her work was never just a job; it was an extension of her character—steady, responsible, and guided by a kind-hearted attentiveness that made even ordinary days run a little smoother for everyone around her.
On January 23, 1976, Irma married David Olivarez. In the life they built, her devotion was unmistakable—rooted in love, strengthened by resilience, and expressed through the countless thoughtful details that turn a house into a home and a family into a refuge.
Irma’s passion for crafting and decorating reflected her gentle creativity and her compassionate instinct to bring warmth and beauty into shared spaces. With patient hands and a caring eye, she found meaning in the small touches—reminders that comfort can be made, and that love often lives in what is carefully tended.
Irma is survived by her son, David Olivarez Jr.; her grandchildren, Sofia Esperanza Olivarez and Ruby Savannah Olivarez; and her brothers, Daniel Vasquez and Jose Vasquez Jr. Her absence will be deeply felt, yet her legacy remains—woven through the lives she nurtured, the loyalty she lived by, and the enduring kindness that will continue to echo in memory and in love.
