Isabel V. Jacquez, a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, was called home to be with our Lord on May 28, 2025, at the age of 93. Born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on September 10, 1931, Isabel lived a long and beautiful life centered around faith, family, and unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Enrique Jacquez Jr., and her daughter, Maria Elena Fernandez. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Enrique Jacquez III(Socorro), her son in law Onfre, Gabriel Jacquez, Graciela Martinez, and Leticia Melendez (Fred), along with 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren each of whom carries her love, wisdom, and warmth in their hearts.
Isabel’s faith was the guiding light and foundation of her life, deeply rooted in her enduring devotion to the Virgen de Guadalupe. This faith gave her strength, comfort, and resilience that shaped not only how she lived but how deeply she loved. Her unwavering faith and endless love built and held together the family she cherished so dearly. She had a special way of brightening everyday moments through her stories, her wisdom, and the simple acts of kindness that became treasured memories for those who knew her.
Because of Isabel, her family was surrounded by warmth, support, and love that shaped who they are today. She has forever changed the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a beautiful testament to faith, love, and grace, one that will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of her family and all who loved her.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Three Oaks Hospice for their incredible compassion and care during Isabel’s final days. Their support was a source of peace during a time of sorrow, and their kindness will always be remembered.
Isabel will be remembered not only for the life she lived but for the love she shared so freely with everyone around her. Her spirit lives on in the memories we cherish, the stories we tell, and the kindness she showed. She often reminded us with her own words, “Vivimos para morir” and “Hay más tiempo que vida” teaching us to embrace every moment with faith and grace. Her legacy of strength, faith, and endless love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Rest in Peace Isabel, your love will forever guide us, and your memory will live on in our hearts always.
