Itzel graduated from Eastwood High School in 1996. Her passion in the medical field led her to obtain her certifications as a surgical technician and an EMT. She enjoyed her career working for both Life Ambulance and Pro Action. Itzel loved to help and serve her community. Her one of a kind personality made it easy for her to have had lifelong friends and acquaintances in both her personal life and career.
Itzel is survived by her mother Mina Granados and her father Ubaldo Granados; her sisters Sarai Sanchez (Apolinar Sanchez) and Mayela Granados; her nephews Omar Sanchez, Eloy Sanchez and Diego Sanchez.
Itzel was preceded in death by her sister Maria Granados and her brother David Granados.
A visitation for Itzel will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil at 6:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will follow on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 12:00 PM at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 10970 Bywood Dr., El Paso, Texas 79935. Committal service will follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza, El Paso, Texas 79907.
