Jaime Javier Del Castillo, 45, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend departed this life on June 14, 2024. He was born on July 17,1978 in El Paso,Texas and proudly served in the US Army.
Jaime's presence was larger than life. His big stature surely got him noticed. Once you got to know him, he was a big teddy bear with a tender heart. He was an intelligent man, had a radiant smile and a witty sense of humor. Jaime was a protector, a guardian, a defender. You always felt safe by his side. Jaime inspired so many with his confidence and willingness to help, teach, and lead. He was a hard worker, assertive but kind and gentle. Our hearts ache to have lost such an amazing man. A one of a kind, loyal, honorable man.
Jaime is survived by his wife Summer Del Castillo; two children Alexis and Ismael Del Castillo, three step children Angel, Jaziel, and Jezebell Ramirez; two grandchildren Cataliya and Sebastian Ramirez; his parents Jaime and Patricia Del Castillo; two siblings Cristy and Adrian Del Castillo; along with many extended family.
A visitation for Jaime will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938. A chapel prayer service will occur Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938. A graveside service will occur Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
