Jesus Raul Acosta (Gandi), born May 5, 1919 in El Paso, Texas , passed away on Dec 7, 2013. Jesus was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church. He served his country proudly in WWII. Jesus graduated from Bowie High School in 1939 and was a member of the Golden Bears Social Club. Survived by his wife Julia H. Acosta and two sons Michael P. Acosta and David Acosta, four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Brittain, Michael Ben Acosta, Carliegh Acosta, Keenan Acosta, Great Grandchildren Taylor Delgado, Justin Delgado, Nicholas Delgado, Demi Delgado and Gabriel Delgado. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm -9:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 6:00pm vigil. Funeral Mass will be held 1:30pm Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
