Jesus Elias Arzaga, age 98 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. He retired from ASARCO after 32 years of service and dedication and was known as "La Flecha". Jesus was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sara Gonzalez Arzaga. He is survived by his loving children Jesus E. Arzaga Jr. (Maria Olivia Valles) and Maria Sarah Arzaga (Andres Swatts); granddaughters, Elizabeth, Adriana, Cristina, Jessica and Erika; great grandchildren, Arturo, Ashley, Cynthia, Brianna (Nicole), Ilene, Johnathan, Cesar (Nathaniel), Gustavo; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Jesus will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a vigil at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. Funeral mass will be Friday, November 3rd at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
