Jesus Gallegos

Jesus Gallegos, 93 yrs., went to his heavenly home to be with our Lord and his wife Estella Gallegos (†) on Thursday, February 17, 2022, El Paso, TX. He passed peacefully with his loving family by his side.

Jesus was born in El Paso, Texas August 10, 1928, to his mother Lucia Gonzalez and father Jesus Gallegos. He was married to Estella Gallegos (†) on June 20, 1950, in Las Cruses, New Mexico. They celebrated 70 years together on June 20, 2020. He was a father of seven children, Adelina Avalos, Clara Avalos Nunez (†), Catalina Elizaldez (†), Jesusita (Jessie) Silva, Felipe Gallegos, Norma Ponzo, and Lillian Gallegos-Martinez; 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren.

He worked at Union Pacific Railroad as a luggage load from which he retired. Then started working at the airport for Sky Chef in 1967 for over 25 years of service loading the food and drinks onto the airplanes.

He was a loving, fun, and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed by all that had any part of her life.
