I was very sad to see Mr. Hernandez Obituary. I met Mr. Hernandez thru my Grandpa Max (Mr. Hernandez called him Felix) he passed away over 16 years ago. I lost my dad Phil on June 3, 2020. from Heart complications. They all had one thing in common, they were men of RESPECT, you earn that, NO money can buy that. Mr. Hernandez and my grandpa ate at the Oasis on Pershing, he would brag about his sons at OMI and the ones in California in a Produce business. My grandpa told me "este senor no come' nada he just comes to shoot the bull!" and Mr. Hernandez would say "hey Sanchez why you eating all the time you're gonna get fat!" The others at the restaurant would say what a bunch of crazy old men. We always got up from our table and shook hands when one left ,and they would tell each "see you tomorrow viejo". I regret not looking up Mr. Hernandez after my Grandpa passed, I am sure they are shooting the Bull in Heaven. Vaya Con Dios Senor..... see you at the OASIS.
