Jose Castaneda, 89, passed away October 3, 2015 in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Maria Castaneda, Sons, Javier, Jose Reynaldo, Sergio, Jose, David, Manuel, Patricia Alejandro and Jesus Arturo Castaneda; daughters, Virginia Cano, Josefina Vargas, Elvira Davalos, Rosa Ines Davalos, and Lidia Aurora Murillo. He is also survived by his 36 Grandchildren and 22 Great-Grandchildren and his brothers, Fortino and Francisco Castaneda; and his sisters, Carmen Mendoza, Ercilia Castaneda and Concepcion Castaneda. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home Central, where a Vigil will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 12 Noon, Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
