Jose was a good, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. A proud Jefferson High School Fox, Class of 1971. He retired from Tyco/Grinnell 15 years ago and enjoyed his time camping, grilling, fishing, playing poker and especially playing his music for all to hear. He also truly enjoyed his breakfast with his Jefferson Fox friends. He will be dearly missed.
Jose is survived by his spouse, Sonia G. Sanchez; his daughter Veronica Gomez; his daughter Cynthia Ruby Sanchez (Laura Sanchez); his daughter Yvette Sanchez; his son Jose Luis Sanchez Jr.; and his son Esteban C. Sanchez (Brisa Lopez); his sister-in-law Diana G. Devitt (Peter Devitt), his sister-in-law Dee Gallardo, his sister-in-law Sandra Gallardo and his sister-in-law Silvia Soto. Jose also leaves behind nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren to cherish his memory.
Jose was preceded in death by his mother Justa Duran and his father Jose Sanchez.
Visitation for Jose will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Vigil at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, TX. 79903. Funeral mass will be on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 602 S. Oregon, El Paso, TX. 79901. Committal service will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd., Santa Teresa, NM. 88008.
