Jose M. Sanchez was born on March 6, 1932, in El Paso, Texas, and passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 93.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Angela Sanchez, his brothers and sisters, and his beloved wife, Maria Hortencia Sanchez.

He is survived by his sons and their wives, Edward and Gracie Sanchez, and Gilbert and Emily Sanchez, his grandchildren, Edward Joseph Sanchez, Christina Saldana, Jennifer Leigh Smith, Veronica Sanchez, eight great-grandchildren and his sister, Mary Estrada.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at 12:00 pm at St. Jude Catholic Church, 4006 Hidden Way, El Paso, Texas 79922; with burial to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Blvd. El Paso, Texas 79906 with military honors.
