Josefina "Josie" Martinez

Josefina S. Martinez, 91 went to be with our beloved Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 21, 1924 and raised in El Paso. It was here that she began working for Hortex MFG. She is proceeded in death by her son John (Uncle Johnny) Mármolejo and her daughter Yolanda Mármolejo. She is survived by daughters Romelia McGuire (Ben McGuire Jr.) and Elizabeth Escobedo (Mario Escobedo), and her sister Hortensia Palacios. She was blessed with 10 Grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary services will be held Monday May 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 pm rosary, at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central. Funeral Mass will be held to celebrate her life at St. Pius X Church, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 1:00pm, immediately followed by interment at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
