What a guy “Joe” was, a friend of mine since middle school at SMS. I later started to call him “Boogie” because the he loved to dance around. The nickname stuck and many knew him by that name. We grew up in the neighborhood together and I have a lot of fond memories of him and I sharing experiences together, from navigating through awkward preteen years and teenagers as young boys do. Plying paintball together, turning wrenches in auto shop class, and many other similar interests and adventures that came of them. He was always in good spirits and loved to make those around him laugh or feel better. In our later years we grew apart some, life showed up, and we grew into young men and started new chapters in our lives. We didn’t talk as often or see each other as often, but when we did have time for that it was just like old times. I will forever cherish these memories and he will always be a true friend of mine. Rest easy Boogie
