I just found out about my friend's passing. I am very sad. I spoke to him a day before he checked into the hospital. I hadn't heard from him, and on my own I find out he passed away April 13th. We last spoke on March 30th.  He was great encouragement for me and supporter of my New Spain and Mexico history work. Our group on Facebook and I are mourning his loss today :-(

My deepest condolences to the family of Juan.  I have known Juan and Andrea for years they were both my patient at Dr.Hovels they both were special people I grew to love them both as dear friends. Juan and I kept in touch to see how we were doing and he as my patient, he recently became a patient where I am employed now.
Always enjoyed catching up with  him and his smile  .

I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Juan's passing. I had the privilege of meeting Juan years back when he worked in the at Bienvivir and little did I know that my Father Jaime Quintanar Jr. "Jim" went to Jefferson with Juan. Every time I'd run into him he'd approach me with a firm handshake and say, "Hey man... how's your Dad".  Small talk would then precede and some how the day seemed a bit brighter. He'll surely be missed and picturing him being embraced by his loving angel waiting for him in the heavens brings a smile to my face. May God bless your family with peace, love, and strength during this difficult time. I look forward to greeting him and so many others again someday when I'm called upon as well.
