Juan Ramirez, affectionately known as "Franky" and "Toby," passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 30, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 77. Born on February 10, 1948, in Puerto Rico, Juan was a joyful spirit whose warmth, compassion, and playful humor touched the lives of everyone he met.
Juan loyally served his country in the United States Army for 16 proud years, demonstrating courage, dedication, and perseverance. But perhaps his greatest legacy is that of a devoted husband and beloved father. He leaves behind his loving wife Leonor Ramirez and their three children: daughter, Sandra Ramirez, and sons, Juan Miguel and Juan Ramirez as well as his grandchildren Alexis Ramirez, Joseph M Olvera, Tiana Ramirez, Priscilla Ramirez and Great Grandchild Kori Masters.
Memorial Mass will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 North Clark Drive. Burial will immediately follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, East shelter, at 2:30 pm
