Julio Torres Barragan

Julio Torres Barragan, 93, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Mr. Barragan retired from Asarco after 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lopez Barragan. Mr. Barragan is survived by sons, Julio Barragan, Jr. (spouse Yolanda), Rodolfo Barragan (spouse Raquel), Mario Barragan (spouse Lisa), Martin Barragan (spouse Marina), Joseph Barragan (spouse Tod), and Roger Barragan (spouse Bridgitt); daughters, Irma Velasquez (spouse Ernesto), Idelia Camacho (spouse Juan), and Christina Sefton (spouse Joseph); 28 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Barragan was a God fearing honorable man. He worked extremely hard to provide for his family. He will always be remembered as a humble, non-assuming, honorable gentleman. Visitation will be Friday, December 18, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with at Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at FDA Martin Central. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Martin Central.
