Julio Rosales, age 33, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on May 13th, 2021. Julio was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. When he was younger, Julio enjoyed dancing in ballet folklorico until the age of 14. Julio was a graduate of Bowie High School, class of 2008. He later moved to New Mexico, where he worked for the Bernalillo Public School in the Nutrition Department. He quickly moved up to Manager/Headcook at Bernalillo Middle School where he worked for 5 years. Julio truly loved serving the students every day, but he was more than just a cook, he was a role model, friend, and mentor. He often attended student basketball and baseball games, including away games. He enjoyed spending time and supporting his students. Julio also enjoyed spending every moment he could spare with his children and enjoyed creating lasting memories. Julio was a good father, brother, uncle, partner, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Julio is survived by his parents Jorge and Petra Espinoza Rosales; partner Angelica Guevara; son Roman Leonidas Rosales; step-daughter Analeigha Archibeque; brothers Terence (Terry) Rodriguez, Jorge (Freddy) Rodriguez, Jorge (Carlos) Rosales, George Rosales, and Adrian Rosales; sister Tracy Rodriguez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved friends and relatives whom he considered his extended family.
Memorial Visitation Services will be held from 6 PM – 9 PM, Rosary to commence at 6:30 PM, Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel, located at 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Mass will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 beginning at 9:30 AM at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, located at 8011 Williamette Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79907, followed by committal service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
