

Our beloved Karen was called to be with our Lord December 24, 2015. She was born November 13, 1946, in Pampa, TX. She moved to El Paso from Denver, CO in 1969. Karen had muscular dystrophy. She volunteered at Hotel Dieu Hospital and Planned Parenthood. She graduated from UTEP in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in social work and was listed in Who’s who in American Colleges. Karen served on the Board of Volar Independent Living, helping people with disabilities live independently. She was preceded in death by her dad, Kirby Kimberlin. She is survived by her mother Cleta Bridler, sisters Nancy Kimberlin, Vicky Titus, Linnea Hart (Dean), step brother Bill Bridler Jr. (Laura), step sister Linda Keene (Bill) several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and her special dog Daisy. Life time friends were made by all who knew her. We extend thanks to nurses, respiratory therapists and aides at St. Teresa Rehab. Donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy, Volar Independent Living or your favorite charity. Memorial service will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 1:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central conducted by Coronado Baptist, Pastor Mike Woods.
