

Officer McDonough graduated from the El Paso Police Academy and was commissioned as a police officer on October 26, 2007. He was assigned to the Pebble Hills Regional Command Center, Graveyard Shift. Prior to serving the citizens of El Paso, Officer McDonough proudly served in the U.S. Army. He had a devotion to protecting the weak and a passion for helping and serving others. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Officer McDonough is survived by his wife, Alicia Rebecca McDonough; children Kaylum McDonough, Keeshaw McDonough, Paulina McDonough and step-son Rene Grijalva; parents, Paul and Nancy McDonough; brother Terry McDonough and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
The Family would like to express their appreciation for the extensive support they have received from their family, friends, citizens of El Paso, members of the El Paso Police Department, El Paso Municipal Police Officer’s Association and the entire law enforcement community.

Visitation: Monday, October 18, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana, El Paso, TX 79903.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at 12:00 noon at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills, Officer McDonough will be interred at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with full Police and Military Honors.
