Laura M. Nunez-Bolanos M.ED

Before her passing Laura was 6 months away from graduating with her PHD in Education with minor in Chicano Studies. This year would have been 15 years working for The University of Texas at El Paso. Her drive and passion for UTEP will not be forgotten. She would go the extra mile to ensure in exiting all graduating students. Hence we cannot forget her love at the Dallas Cowboys. Win or lose Laura was die-hard fan. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfonso “Poncho” Bolanos Jr., Father Luis E. Nunez, Mother Margarita Nunez, brother Benjamin Nunez. She is survived by Daughters Erika R. Olvera and Destiny N. Acosta, boyfriend Dennis Gomez, Comadre Mona Gomez and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday from 5p.m. to 9 p.m. with Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home-Central. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church.
