Leticia (Silva) Acosta, 71, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on Monday August 18, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1953, to Jesus V. Silva and Amparo Silva. Survived by her stepmother Ethelynn E. Silva.
Leticia dedicated much of her adult life to serving others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose greatest joy was caring for her family and serving Jehovah. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claro Acosta Jr.; her parents; and siblings Jesus Roberto Silva (Rebecca) and Jesus Silva Jr.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Jose Claro Acosta, Raul Acosta, and Darlina Yvette Acosta-Martinez (Patrick); her cherished grandchildren, George Acosta, Diana Reyna, Isaac Nathaniel Acosta, Autumn Leticia Acosta, Eli Cash Martinez, and Abigaile Anabella Acosta; as well as her beloved siblings, Daniel Silva (Marty), Hector Silva (Diana), Tina Silva, and Edward Silva (Bea). She was an adored aunt to many nephews and nieces.
Leticia’s faith was the foundation of her life. She was especially proud to serve as a Jehovah's Witness Pioneer in her later years, sharing, modeling love and kindness to all who knew her.
Services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903. Interment to follow at 11:00 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
She will be missed immensely, but for now, her love, faith, and example will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. We love you Mom, Madre, Gramacita.
