Lorena C. Nuñez

She is survived by her three daughters, son and spouses: Hilda and James Bell of High Rolls, New Mexico, Gloria and Hector Trinta DeLeon of Hampton, Georgia, Lillian and Gene Montoya of Las Cruces, NM, Gilbert and Ingrid Nuñez of Peyton, Colorado and her brother Arnold Tavizon and wife Bertha. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and their spouses, Hilary Salas, Angee Bell, Samuel Bell, Audrey Fishell, Gimel Venegas, Noelle Portillo, Kelsey Montoya and Zachary Montoya. Also 11 great-grandchildren Cristian, Chase, Austin, Mickey, Abby, Allie, Bethany, Zaelor, Elliot, Natalie and Gimel, plus extended family and friends.

Mrs. Nuñez was preceded in death by her parents Pedro Contreras and Felipa Tavizon, her beloved husband Pedro S. Nuñez, and her daughter Guillian Zoe.

She was born March 27, 1932 in Chihuahua, Mexico, graduated from high school and became a U.S. citizen in 1954. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her strength of character was amazing and she demonstrated her devotion to Jehovah God and her Kingdom Hall. She will be missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 15, for family members only, in light of our current health precautions. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Kidney Foundation.
