Louis H. Ahrens

Louis H. Ahrens, 88, went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2015 after a brief illness. Louis retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company after 35 years of dedicated service in the accounting department and also previously served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He was a faithful and active member of the Lutheran Church his entire life and often volunteered his talents in service to God and most recently was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Louis is survived by his loving wife Eula whom he married September 12, 1954, and his wonderful son Robert. To those Louie left behind, we will always remember him as a friendly, selfless, caring and compassionate man who always put others before himself. He will be greatly missed and always loved. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Friday, January 23, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home Central and on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
