Manuela Josefina Chavez, 100, passed away Thursday February 12, 2015. She was a member of San Juan Bautista Catholic Church. She retired from Franklin Dept. store. She is survived by her son Ruben Hermosillo (Marta) and grandchildren Leticia, Ruben (Kathy), and Patricia (Juan), brothers G.L. and Fernando Chavez, sister Consuelo Marquez, several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to CIMA Hospice, Claudia Reveles, RN, Rosie Salas, HHA, and Sandra Hernandez-Portillo, LBSW. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with Rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday February 15th at Martin Funeral Home Central. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday February 16th at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church. Interment in Evergreen (Alameda).
