Margarita L. Montoya, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Margarita was born in El Paso, Texas to Alberto and Elisa Lagunas.

Margarita is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Elisa Lagunas and her husband, Luis Montoya Jr. She is survived by her son Luis Montoya III; her son David Montoya; and her daughter Rita E. Montoya-Gomez; her sister Romelia Lagunas, her brothers Juan Lagunas and Alberto Lagunas Jr.; her 10 grandchildren and her 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 9:30 am at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 North Mesa Street. Followed by interment in Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79938.
