

Maria Abigail Caldera passed away 12/29/2015. She has joined her husband of 54 years, Salvador Caldera and her brothers; Francisco and Alfredo, sisters; Consuelo, Taide, Altagracia and Silveria, in the arms of the Lord. She is survived by her sister, Paula Escobar, children, Elvia Loweree, Rene Caldera and Aida McCaghren and son in-laws Fred Loweree and Bryan McCaghren. She had five grandchildren and spouses; Adrian Loweree (Christina Loweree), Rebecca Loweree (Jay Blobner), Claudia Teeter (Thomas Teeter), Cassandra Caldera and James McCaghren and two great grandchildren; Shelby Loweree-Marquez & Nicholas Teeter. Also survived by nieces and nephews and her devoted friend, Paulita Mesta, who loved her. A loving and devoted mother to her family, her life was an example of love and devotion to Jesus Christ and Our Lady of Guadalupe. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity and friendship. She was a proud alumni of Bowie High School, Class of 1943.
