Maria Elena Gomez

Maria Elena will be remembered as a loving presence and a steady source of strength to those who had the privilege of knowing her. With quiet courage and enduring resolve, she served as a role model within her family and beyond, meeting life with dignity and offering reassurance through both word and example.

She was always very welcoming of everyone, extending warmth and kindness that made others feel seen, valued, and at home in her company. Her care for others was expressed not only in what she did, but in the spirit with which she did it—generous, attentive, and sincere.

Maria Elena was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Gomez. She is survived by her loving children Rosalva G. Rodriguez, Veronica Gomez, Juan Carlos Gomez, and Adriana Gomez. She is also survived by grandchildren Andrew, Nikolas, Isabella, Emilee, David, Diego, and Matthew, and 4 sisters, and 1 brother.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 12 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.

In lieu of flowers, house plants are welcomed.
