Maria Luisa Hernandez

Many say that there is nothing like the love of a mother and they are right. Maria Louisa Hernandez was a devoted wife who loved our father for over 65 years. She was proud to be a mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother to her family and loved them all in her own unique way. She brought out strength in others, for it was one of her own most obvious traits. She never left her husband’s side, standing strong while he preceded her to be with our lord. Now we are left here to be strong as she joins him in heaven. She is preceded in death by her son George Hernandez Jr. and is survived by her daughter Maria Elena Perez, her son Alfred Hernandez and Daughter-in-Law Marina Hernandez. Her grand-children include Anthony Perez, Christine Gomez (Dr. Jaime R. Gomez), George Hernandez III (Mireya Hernandez), Lisa Gonzalez (Raul Gonzalez), Yvonne Feria (Sonny Feria) and Nina Loray Hernandez (Stephen Mize). Great grandchildren included Saul Gonzalez, Jaime Gomez, Mia Gomez, Matthew Gomez, AvaMarie Gomez, Valerie Feria, Sunnie-Marie Feria, Alexis Feria, Mia Feria, Noah Hernandez, Emma Hernandez, Abby Hernandez, and Joel Hernandez. Visitation: Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, 4700 Delta,. Burial to follow at Evergreen Alameda Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central, El Paso, TX.
