

Tere graduated from El Paso High School in 1954. She retired from EPISD after 27 years of dedicated service as a cafeteria manager.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Sabas Fierro Jr.; daughter Gloria (Rosalio) Guillen Jr.; sons Daniel Fierro and Roland Fierro; daughter-in-law Yoly Fierro; and her cherished grandchildren Sara Fierro, Hector Fierro Jr., Michael F. Guillen, and Stella T. Guillen. She is also survived by her brother Henry O. (Marie) Montoya, and sisters Sandra (Rudy), Urbina and Irma (Juan) Pons. She is preceded in death by her parents and her children Stella, Sonny, and Hector.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Enhabit Hospice for their unwavering support, kindness, and compassion, which brought great comfort to Mom in her final days. They also wish to thank all who brought food, visited, or called to share kind words—your thoughtfulness has meant so much. A special thank-you goes to Yoly Fierro, who lovingly provided meals each day, allowing the family to spend precious time by Mom’s side.
Mom will be deeply missed and forever loved. She found joy in tending her roses and spent countless hours in her garden. Her strong faith shaped and strengthened her family through life’s challenges. We were blessed to share many meaningful conversations with her, and she often reminded us that life is to be lived and love is meant to be shared.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903. Rosary will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2709 Alabama St, El Paso, Texas 79930, followed immediately by a Committal Service at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906.
