Martiniano "Martin" Mendoza

Martiniano “Martin” Mendoza, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the age of 80. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having proudly served during the Korean conflict. He was employed by Western Auto for over 38 years. Mr. Mendoza is preceded in death by wife of 40 years Lily. He is survived by his children Rosemarie and husband Reuben Roybal, Martin David, and Elizabeth Lily Mendoza. Siblings are Cosme, Modesta, Ygnacia, Margaret, Raul, Ester, Richard, Teresa, Conception, and Victor. Mr. Mendoza is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Andrea and Nicholas and 1 great grandson; Isaak. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home; 3839 Montana. Vigil/Rosary service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church; 1050 N. Clark. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
