Mildred L. Williams, 89, was called to God on Saturday, February 1, 2025. She passed away peacefully with her son, Morris by her side. Mildred was born in Lockhart, TX on October 16, 1935, to Clyde Wright, Jr. and Celestine Wright.
In 1955, Mildred married her high school sweetheart, Bobbie L. Williams and together they had five wonderful children. Mildred was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, nurse and friend. She was a mother who dedicated her life to her family. She possessed an unbelievable passion for cooking and baking, which brought joy and comfort to all of those who ate. Mildred loved her faith, fishing, gardening and having conversations with family and friends every day, always with a listening ear, offering support, wisdom and love. Mildred’s kind spirit, generosity and compassion touched the lives of so many. She knew no strangers.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie L. Williams; daughter, Michelle, and son, Michael.
She is survived by her sons, Mark, Morris and Marvin; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mildred will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903 with interment to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
